a5c7b9f00b Masters of the Sky follows the tale of veteran pigeon fighter Mehmood ustaad, and his young apprentice Huzaifa, as they take the viewer through a journey that unfolds the art of pigeon fighting in a close knit community called Jamshed road in the city of Karachi. Here, the love and art of pigeon fighting is seen on the rooftops of old men, and in the narrow winding streets of the pigeon market. This documentary shows an old sport being passed down from one generation to the next through word of mouth and practice, revealing a passion that drives a small group of people to train hundreds of pigeons to claim their worth as masters.
